Anyone that is American and isn't a full blooded Native American Indian...really can't say anything about immigrating..Heck,honestly,Mexicans are more 'native' to this country than white people..they were technically here first..ALL of us came from SOMEONE who took a chance on a new life..This land wasn't ours to begin with...yet we tried and we started a new life...(not getting into that issue..I know)..........but,...yes,we pay taxes...yes,we work...but they do ,too.Twice as hard and for less pay..I do believe there are some who do things the wrong way..taking people's social security number to get what they need..things like that...but people who were born and raised as Americans do that,too...
We DO need to change the way immigration is handled..Did you know immigrants are given a tax id..and they pay taxes,but they don't have rights as citizens?..THAT's why the government won't change the imigration laws.They make more money with them being illegal..so some family works their butt off for half the pay, pays taxes..then OH NO! Imigration comes and POOF ...sends them home.. deported...they paid taxes..then they have to pay more money to come back.If the government were to change the laws,they'd have to pay for these people's healthcare and they would be paying out more money than they bring in from just taking taxes and giving them nothing...they are borrowed taxpayers.
Please don't hate me for thinking this way..I'm just a mommy with babies..who have friends whose families are struggling to make themselves better...This is their chance.You can't blame them for wanting more for their babies.

So you are saying that since Mexicans have it worse off than we here in the U.S. do, that we should let them live here illegally? Okay, so say we do that. Millions and millions of extra people would be living here. And why stop at the Mexicans since you are not a racist. Pretty much all of South America is even worse off than the Mexicans. So by your logic, they should all be allowed to move here legally. But wait, pretty much all of Africa has it even worse off than South America. So we should have all the starving people in Africa move here too. And why stop there? We can take on some of the poor Asian countries as well as India.
Guess what happens when all those hundreds of millions of people are just allowed to come in here to live off our country. The whole country will implode, I am sure you can agree. The nice life that you and I enjoy right now will no longer be available to you or I. The country will be in complete chaos and there will be no more jobs or resources to support all the people in our country.
The reason why the US doesn't want illegals to jump the border is that if we allowed that, there would be no way to regulate how many people move here. The US is very generous in allowing people from all over the world to move here legally without negatively affecting our way of life. But since many people cross the border every year illegally (many from Mexico), the US has to cut down on the legal immigrants that are allowed to come here. And there are many other countries that are far worse off than Mexico that deserve a chance to live here. But when Mexicans jump the border illegally, the people in other countries get screwed. Mexicans might be poor but countries in Africa are going through wars and political turmoil and they need more help than the Mexicans.
By the way, Mexico has even tougher immigration laws than we do. People from El Salvador and Honduras who have it even worse than Mexicans try to sneak into Mexico and the Mexican government regards them as felons. Mexico kicks them out even though they are just looking for a better life like you say. If you read up on Mexican laws you will find that Mexico has a much harsher illegal immigration policy than the US does.

It could be you said something that really got under her skin. You know, you CAN push people too far sometime. Someone who is not racist can be pushed into hate by being continually accused of it or from verbal abuse by them. She probably doesn't hate people of other races. Looks like she hates the Hispanics because of the way they criticize the U.S. and the U.S.A. citizens. Many of our ancestors came here as immigrants and had very little to start with, yet they didn't quit, they continued to work and eventually this country became a place people from many other countries desire to live in. Ilegal immigrants who entered into the U.S. should not be so ungracious of what they have been given here. By attacking this country, our people, you are bringing the ire of the people on yourselves. Many will come to hate you. The people of Mexico should be capable of accomplishing what our ancestors accomplished. They didn't have the modern day conveniences we have today in the U.S. The Mexican people CAN survive, they will just need to learn to do it without modern conveniences like our ancestors did. That is how you take a 3rd world country out of poverty and bring it into a more productive state. Running away is not the answer. They certainly shouldn't attack the countrymen who pay for their livelihood. They wouldn't have the welfare, jobs, housing if it weren't for the taxes Americans have paid for generations. Illegal people do not belong in the U.S.A. This is not their home
