Sixth grade will not be hard if you take responsibility for yourself. I think that's the biggest thing you can/will learn in 6th grade. If you've got that under control, most everything else will fall into place. So if you have homework and you are responsible, then you won't wait until the last minute or make up some excuse. Instead as a resonsible person, you'll do it and do it to the best of your ability.
So what I'm saying is that 6th grade will only be hard if you are unwilling to be responsible.

I loved sixth grade. Listen and study and it will be fine. The years that I switched school were the hardest. Seventh grade and ninth grade took a little adjusting.

nope. School didn't get hard until Freshman honors bio, and then it didn't get hard again until Junior year of college honors medieval history throughout the 12th-16th centuries.

academics were easy and fun for me and i had a good time with my friends.
5th grade stunk for me because i was a new kid in the school with no friends.
