If you are speaking as a believer, it is a calling by God. You feel a burden for sharing the Gospel with other people groups, you have an interest in a certain country or people group. My advice would be to pray fervently about it, do not go into this lightly or on a whim. Speak to your Pastor about it. If you have a chance, visit with missionaries when they come home to find out what it is like. Study up on what is required, if it is a long term thing, you will most likely have to get a college education or degree, they generally don't send just anyone out. Check out various mission organizations to find out their requirements and what steps you should take. If this is a calling from God, He will open doors for you, you just need the faith and courage to walk through them.

One becomes a missionary by becoming a Christian. Every Christian is a missionary because either you send people or you are being sent. You can send people through your tithes and offering, prayers and support or people can do the same for you. As an after thought, remember that you are a missionary whenever you preach the good news.

They answer the call that God has put on their life and He reveals to them where He would have them to serve. Perhaps by people and circumstances and the still small voice of the Holy Spirit and through prayer.

That's how it is supposed to work anyway. Some people just join up with a missionary team for reasons of their own and they end up bearing little or no fruit in their efforts because they are not in the area where God would have them to be.

There are some links of the Free Stuff page of my site that have information on Missionary work and organizations. The link is http://web.express56.com/~bromar/

Almost all churches have some kind of missionaries. My son has been to many parts of Mexico and is going to Belize next year. And No he is not Mormon. Talk to your minister and they will find you something.
There are also many organizations that take volunteers

the easiest way is to print pamphlets of what you believe & then just distribute them to everyone, but if ur talkin overseas or w/ someone else, I think you have to research that & pay for it yourself.
