When it's painful and out of control, it's not love. Passion, yes, but not love. Real love is not about causing each other pain, it is about going through pain together. Real love is not out of control, real love is a feeling of peace and calm and serenity. It takes a certain level of maturity and experience before that kind of real love is possible. Sometimes it requires working for a long time with the person you're with, sometimes it requires a long search to find the right person. If you're feeling painful and out of control, you haven't found real love yet. Until you do, don't take things so seriously!

I guess I should be asking that question but from my point. You put your all into a person, You would do anything for that person. Then one day they find a different person or the idea of something different. and they lose the interest in you. Then you notice they don't talk to you as much, they don't call you. they don't give you those looks. And you miss that, you want it back so bad; that you would do anything for it. But remember this you lived once without it you can live again without it. Sooner than later there will be someone else in your life!

The law of entropy. Everything is chaotic for this reason. That is why there are so many control issues in society. People are striving for an order that is not natural. Its easier to go with the flow. If love is ever present, great. If it is slipping away, go with the flow. What else can you do. Love stinks.

Michael, it's an age old question. Almost every song, play and movie ever written is about this subject. Love can be a terrible and wonderful thing. I hope things get better for you soon. Each day you will wake up with less and less of an ache in your heart.

Because it's emotion-based, and past the honeymoon phase, you're tasked with blending your hopes, expectations, and aspirations in concert with another human being attempting to do the same thing. Man, that's a bear even under the best of circumstances...and things rarely remain "under the best of circumstances"; external factors rear their ugly heads and challenge us to be true to our convictions of professed love. But in the end, if we persevere, we can win, and winning means love thrives and grows (through hardships as well as in spite of them). I hope this answer helps your perspective. Best wishes in all your future efforts.

love hurts only when its true coz truth hurts, you wont be really out of control, its just your heart takes control instead of your brain.
