So, there is this girl. I have known her for 7 years, two of which we "dated", but we were in elementary school, so I don't know if that counts. Recently, I have become re-interested in her, but I don't know if she feels the same way. We talk almost every night on the phone for a few hours, and it has been said that she is "giggly" when I call.
Then again, she has said that I am more of a brother than anything to her, though she told this to one of my friends, and she may have not been completely honest. I know that she did like me late last year. Anyway, what should I do?

It has also been said that she "wouldn't say no" because she is "obsessesd with how cool I am"

so, there's that.

Well, if she ever tells you that you're like a brother to her, the odds aren't good for a relationship. But because she didn't tell you to your face, you should go for it. I never had that problem, because I never had that many close friends growing up. But if you do want to go out with her, you need to hang back a bit. Talking on the phone for a few hours a night is not good in any case. Better to spend that time face-to-face. You need to make yourself scarce, or else you'll seem like you don't know any other girls. And above all, just remember not to take anything she says personally. Girls under 22 are nuts, man! Seriously, they are! Good luck!

Edit:
By all means, please restrain yourself when you tell her how you feel! I realize that you'll have to tell her something to make her know that you like her "like that" as opposed to the way you've been getting along. (That wouldn't be necessary at all if you had just met her, because she'd already know your intentions.) However, you need to avoid baring your soul to this girl at all costs! It will just make her lose respect for you. Just play it cool and ask her out. If she refuses, no big deal. But if you start spouting all sorts of emotional nonsense, she'll lose whatever respect she has for you now. Good luck!

so you should take her somewhere nice and eat and walk and talk about something, nothing and just ask her how she really feels about you without asking her out, then you will know and then you can go from there. You will either have a really cool friend or and awesome girl-friend.

Maybe ask her out on a casual dinner outing, see how it goes and then move it from there in accordance to her comfort level. Take it one step at a time!

Just ask her out on a proper date..and tell her how you feel. She'll soon let you know. Maybe she doesn't want to lose you as a friend, so she's just scared to comit

You need to adress her and how you feel. No one knows how she trully feels but her. Dont keep yourself wondering because it can be overwhelming. Talk to her. Get it off your chest. You'll feel alot better once you know the truth.
