In the restroom; why do we pull our skirts up instead of pulling them down?

We all pull pants down (obviously we cant pull them up)... thats what prompted the question.. Floors are dirty, but pants hit the floor too.

I pull my skirt up because it's a lot faster than pulling it down, especially if it's summer time when I don't wear stockings.

Also, sometimes women wear bodyshapers that have a cut-away crotch so that we don't have to struggle to take this tight thing off before using the toilet. In this case, pulling the skirt up is much much faster.

so it's easier when coming out....if u really think about it it's more of a hassle to pull it down. plus sometimes public restroom floors have water on it and that's just really unhygenic.

cause it's easier and your skirt isn't sitting on the floor of the bathroom

Gender inequality!!! Men should be able to answer your question too. Even though we don't (generally) wear skirts..

I figure that most women wouldn't want their skirts mopping the bathroom floor. DUH

erm...cause the floor might be wet and we dun want our clother to get dirty or wet... ??
