I certainly have the intention to shower daily, but some days, I just can't find the time. Between taking care of both kids, trying to do the laundry, the dishes, and other general housework, on top of trying to do some schoolwork, showers sometimes fall by the wayside.

I'm a mother of three young boys. A 4 year old and twin boys 9 months old. I try to take a shower when my twins are a sleep and I make my 4 year old stay in his room while I'm in the shower. But some days I have to wait until my husband gets home around 6 or 7 pm.

No way. I've been at home for 6 years now and have probably only showered maybe half of those days. Nobody tells you it's not going to be like Leave It To Beaver. I'm going back to work two days a week this fall and that's one of my biggest concerns. What if I can't get into the shower in the morning before my toddler wakes up? And I love my husband dearly but, I'm sorry, he's completely useless at taking care of the children AND himself.

Iam a Stay At Home Mom. I find the shower when his daddy gets home or when he is taking a nap. That is the best time to get the shower in. I usually do it when he is taking a nap but if he decides to take a short nap I go ahead and do it at night before bed when his dad is home.

I had to laugh when I read your question. I had forgotten those days what do you think denial?? No of course I didn't get a shower everyday some days when I had 2 in diapers and one on the way I counted myself lucky to brush my teeth by noon. I finally put my foot down and told my hubby that I needed at least 30 mins in the evenings to shower or what ever without anyone asking me a single question. That tradition continued on for years and it was a blessing let me tell you. Please feel free to ask for help there is no shame in that. Being a supermom is not getting everything done it is learning to prioritize. Good Luck

I am a stay at home mom and I find time to everyday. I either put him in the swing or strap him in the car seat and put him in the bathroom with me. I also sing to him while he is in there so he doesnt get mad before Im finished. If your not finding the time because you have other things that take precedent over that, start to make a list of things your would like to get accomplished for the day. Remember not to load yourself down with too many things.......mom still NEEDS time for mom!!

A day has 24 hours if your a mom you find time to shower and if you don't your just LAZY or a PIG. No children are awake 24/7 find time they sleep unless you weigh 500lbs a shower shouldn't take more than 10 to 15 minutes.

LOL - I started a very bad habit. I have a 6 and a 2 year old and when I want to take a shower I give my 2 year old an ice pop and he sits on the toilet with it. And this sometimes is at like 9 in the morning. It keeps him quiet though.

I shower a couple times a day. And so does my child, Just because you gave birth to a iky infant doesn't mean you guys have to stay that way for the rest of your life. A clean mom is a better one or if not at least you get that couple of minutes to your self

When my stepsons were young I had to wait for my husband to come home from work before I could take a shower because they were so unruly and out of control that we couldn't turn our backs for a second. One of us had to be watching them constantly but I'm happy to say that now they just act like normal boys so now I can shower whenever I want.
