In addition to the fulfillment of prophecies, the Scriptures indicate that Jesus personally instructed his disciples to go door-to-door. Clearly, Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones working to perform the same type of work in our day.

What did Jesus personally say about any who would disregard that important work?
(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest. 3 Go forth. Look! I am sending you forth as lambs in among wolves. ...16 “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards [also] him that sent me forth.”

First suggestion:
Get a spell checker or read more in order to learn the correct spelling of words. This is almost impossible to comprehend otherwise.

Second suggestion:
Believe what you like but that doesn't make it true and forcing your beliefs on others is generally obnoxious. Barabas filled the requirements as well and was a contemporary of Jesus (there were, of course, many others as the Jews were under occupation and were looking EVERYWHERE for their Messiah)

Robert K. Merton's concept of the self-fulfilling prophecy stems from the Thomas theorem, which states that:

"If men define situations as real, they are real in their consequences." (see source)

IMHO you shouldn't try to sell a product to the public without fully knowing what you're selling. Why don't you try studying the historical Christ and the first century middle east? So far your "conclusion" just means you agree with what others have told you, but it doesn't help if you get stuck with someone who has prior or more experience with the product your preaching about. In short, you're preaching more than you're really asking a question and proselytizing is just selling Jesus for your own ends.

Great commission aside, you seem to want people to believe you and not just take a sacred text for what it is. I get the feeling you want people to believe you no matter what it is you actually believe- you sound fanatical and dogmatic at best. Where is Jesus the Christ (see Yeshua or Joshua as he was called later- his real name was probably Simon bar Joseph) in your sales pitch other that as a piece of merchandise? You've got a lot of studying to do- for yourself. Stop trusting what you're preacher or family tells you is right and study yourself.

I'm a Christian myself (and a sociologist) and I ain't buying what your sellin'. Fundamentalism gives me hives.

Yes, the prophecies are there for you and I to see but they are blinded to the Orthodox Jew. These Jews were meant to be blinded so as to give the Gentiles a chance to come in.

But some day soon, the Gentile Age will be finished and then its back to the Jews again with their last day chance to recognize Who they rejected 2,000 years ago
in Jerusalem.

It's all in God's great Plan of redemption for both Jews and Gentiles.

Yes! Jesus Christ fulfilled them all. Ever do the research on what the chances of that happening is. That is why I have no problem accepting what the Bible says will happen in the future.
