These Trinitarian attacks are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to accurately represent the Witnesses' teachings.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.
Rather than quoting from such trinitarian sources as philosophy, Greek mythology, and quotes from other Babylon-loving Trinitarians, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures alone quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.
(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation
(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.
(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God
(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God
(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth
(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak
(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am
(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him
(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father
(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God
(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.
(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah
(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father

Considering the fact that the Bible is CRYSTAL CLEAR in differentiating between Jesus Christ and Almighty God, it's quite easy to turn around the "who's pitiful" finger onto the asker here. The Bible is very straightforward in scriptures such as Colossians 1:15 and Revelation 3:14 in stating that Jesus was created. Now if Jesus was created, it means he can't be God. And that's the truth of the scriptures right there.....Jesus Christ is NOT God.
Ignorant are the ones trying to put Jesus on equal footing and then claiming they're going by the Bible in doing so. It's an out-and-out lie.
Phoenix apparently isn't very bright. Yes, the New World Translation renders John 1:1 as saying that Christ is "a god", but recognizing Christ's god-like nature isn't the same as being a polytheist. Polytheists worship more than one god. Jehovah's Witnesses do not.

The Mormon's are polytheists, though they will deny this. They Believe that the Father is the god of this wordl and that Jesus and Satan were the first two spiritual children of God the Father and the Maternal Goddess. They believe that God the Father was a being from another planet with another god that ascended to become a god. They also believe that each of us can do the same and become a god of another planet with a maternal god and have spirit babies and start another world.
The Jehovah's Witness reject the trinity. They believe the Father alone is God. Despite the fact that the New World Translation in John 1:1 says "and the word was a god". Which makes them polytheists too.
Polytheism will most likely condemn them. But the bible says God alone will judge.

That is the major difference in Witnesses from others. Others are still waiting for the return of Jesus, whereas the Witnesses have already seen the signs of his return. Of course most people think that Jesus hasn't returned, because Armageddon has not come, but consider the lesson of the ancient Jews. They didn't, and still don't, believe he came the first time, because they believe the scriptures say that Armageddon will come with his first advent. Now, "if" they were wrong about the first time, what makes people think that they are not repeating the same mistake, and are wrong about the second time? Clearly, he was on Earth the first time, and yet they missed the fact, so is he now sitting upon his father's throne, and today's Christian have been missing the fact for nearly 100 years. Most of today's Christians have repeated all the other mistakes made by the ancient Jews, why not this one, also? It is something to think about. Is history repeating itself?

Um, let's do some math, shall we?
Right now there are about 6 billion people on this planet.
of that 6, about 1 billion are 'Christian'.
Of that billion, let's say 2 million are Jehovah's Witnesses and 6 million are LDS (proper term for mormon).
That leaves only 992,000,000 right now going to heaven
So, they get to party with everyone else? Not a bad thing.
And for the record, they do believe that Jesus is a part of god, like the Catholics.
Incidently, according to the Bible, the Book of Revelation - only 144,000 are going to heaven.
What makes you think a closed minded bigot is getting in ahead of let's say, oh, I don't know - Ghandi. That horrible Hindu Heathen! No way would Jesus want to talk to that guy, after all, he managed to change to world without firing a shot! What would Ghandi's code of non-violence, loving his neighbor, prayer, poverty and kindness have to interest Jesus when he would get to talk to you?

The way I read the scriptures is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I think John 17 explains very well how the Father and the Son are one. They are one in purpose, just like he wanted his disciples to be. I don't want to argue with anyone. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I believe that Jesus Christ paid and died for my sins, that he rose again the third day, and that he will return in triumph and glory someday(hopefully soon). I don't know how to get anymore Christian than that, except, hmmm, maybe following his example and keeping his commandments. I try to do that everyday. I fall short every day. I thank God that Jesus has provided a path that does not require perfection.

Yes Jesus Christ is Jehovah God in a visible body. The Son of God refers to the Divine Human or the visible truth of God or "the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us." A triune God not a God of persons. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is like the soul, the body and the works in a single person.

Hello friend,
Though there is an element of truth in your question, your point seems misdirected in naming two religions, and referencing the second coming. It's broader than that.
The Bible truth is this, those who are pitiful, (to use your word), are all who refuse to believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God, and do so right now.
Today is the day of Salvation.
Please read John 3:18. Yes 18. Those who do not believe have been judged already.
God put a major road block on the road to Hell in the form of a Cross. Everyone who goes there will ultimately have to pass it on their way.
My desire is that true God fearing Christians will always point to Jesus Christ and His finished work on that Cross in their efforts to keep others out of Hell.
Finally, for you and all others who may read this answer, please read and strongly consider Ephesians 4:29.
Blessings,
2 Tim. 2:7

You are misinformed. Mormons love and worship Jesus Christ as their Savior. If you had done any research whatsoever, from credible sources, you would know that to be the case.
Marion G. Romney, a former member of the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said:
“To obtain life eternal one must so humble and purify himself that he in fact receives through the power of the Holy Ghost a personal witness that God is his Eternal Father and that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and our personal Savior as well as the Redeemer of the world.”

ACCURATE knowledge of God and his Son, Jesus Christ, is vital for those who want everlasting life. Indeed, “there are many ‘gods’ and many ‘lords,’” states the Bible. However, it adds: “There is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are.” (1 Corinthians 8:5, 6) Yes, there is only one true God. But who is he? It is important for us to know the answers to this question, as Jesus himself said in prayer to this One: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.” (John 17:3) There is reason to believe that our eternal welfare depends on knowing the truth about God.
Also, the fact is that Christ does much more than simply “return.” That word, like “coming,” “arrival,” or “advent,” implies a single event in a brief moment of time. But the Greek word that Jesus and his followers used means much more. The word is pa•rou•si´a, literally meaning a “being alongside” or a “presence.” Most scholars agree that this word incorporates not only an arrival but also a subsequent presence—as in a State visit from a royal personage. This presence is not a momentary event; it is a special era, a marked period of time. At Matthew 24:37-39, Jesus said that “the presence [pa•rou•si´a] of the Son of man” would be like “the days of Noah” which culminated in the Flood. Noah was building the ark and warning the wicked for decades before the Flood arrived and wiped out that corrupt world system. Likewise, then, Christ’s invisible presence lasts over a period of some decades before it too culminates in a great destruction.
Undoubtedly, the pa•rou•si´a is not literally visible to human eyes. If it were, why would Jesus spend so much time giving his followers a sign to help them to discern this presence? However, when Christ comes to destroy Satan’s world system, the fact of his presence will be overwhelmingly manifest to all. It is then that “every eye will see him.” Even Jesus’ opponents will be able to discern, to their dismay, that Christ’s reign is real.—See Matthew 24:30; 2 Thessalonians 2:8; Revelation 1:5, 6.
Today, alert Bible students see the “sign” of the presence, or parousia, of the glorified Jesus Christ in heavenly Kingdom power now.

um excuse me but Mormons DO believe that Jesus is the son of God. That's why it's called "the chruch of JESUS CHRIST of latter day saints" I am a Mormon and I believe Jesus is God and I worship him and pray to him every day. Do the research, get it right, then ask your questions.
as for the Jehova's Witness, they are pretty messed up.
