If worms had machine guns, would birds mess with them?

when i was a bird i was BIG! no worm with any kind of gun could stop me ,this is why in my area worms are history.

Yes, because I think the birds would have under-wing mounted Hellfire missles. And everyone knows that machine guns and other small arms are next to worthless against fast moving ariel targets. A better question would be, if worms had SAMs would birds mess with them.

We are talking the hypothetical here, right? Because if you're arming worms I'm going to start arming birds to maintain the balance of power.

Worms wouldn't be able to hold the machine gun. If they were able to somehow strap it onto their back and pull the trigger birds still wouldn't leave them alone. When you consider the size of a worm they wouldn't be able to carry big machine guns therefore the bullets would be small having little impact on a bird.
