After an orgasm, the glans penis (head of the penis) becomes super-sensitive, so guys need a bit of a break between goes. If he's got good stamina, all he needs is a 10-15 minute break.
Other than that, sex doesn't hurt for a guy. I don't know why you would think that.

Only when he isn't gettng any. Of course I am discounting those that like to be hurt, as in BDSM, etc.
