I've been seeing this girl for over 3 weeks now. We're still in a kinda awkward dating phase, but we seem to have a good connection. My question is, do girls like it when the guy calls and seems very interested, or should I play it cool and call her when it's time to set up the date details only? maybe at the last minute...

Don't listen to the wimp. Call only to set up another date. It's not playing games. It's called maintaining interest. If you call her a million times and talk to her about everything and anything, you'll have nothing left to discuss on your date. Or, she may decide based on something you say that she doesn't want to date you ever again. The telephone is your enemy. Talk to her only in person. The phone is simply to get a date. And don't ever leave messages on machines or voicemail.

If you call at the last minute she may have already made other plans.You do not have to call her all the time but a girl likes it if you call maybe once a day or every 2 days just to let them know you were thinking about them.

I say call, because that way you guys can be more familar with each other. Instead of just going on dates and feeling awkward about being out together.
