Maybe a 5. If you do not deep fry them they will be healthier. It depends on the quality of the product you buy. Some have a lot of junk filler and others are made from all chicken.
The breading on the outside is fried to get that golden color before they are packaged so at some point they are fried and thus actually fried food.
You are better off to bake some nice chicken breasts with some seasoned breadcrumbs on top.

when they're breaded they're often pre-cooked by frying. try to find some what have less than 30% of calories from fat, if possible. if not, try dipping strips of skinless chicken breast in flour, then raw egg, then bread or cracker crumbs, or maybe shake 'n' bake
above all, make sure either store bought or all the ingredients in homemade is free of trans fats/hydrogenated oils, they're bad for your heart. last time I needed bread crumbs I had to make my own (cube healthy bread, oven toast, and put through a food processor) because all the store brands had trans fat.

If you cook them in the oven I would say it would be pretty healthy. I would rate the strips at about a 7.5.

probably a 5....the chicken itself is healthy and full of protein, but all that frieing degrades the chicken of its natural value. Try having a poached chicken---it has nothing bad added!

depends on if they are like white meat chicken with out a lot of breading or juices injected in them.
You can buy them with out the breading, better for you.
