a trip to the vet is first. she needs vaccines and a blood test to see if she is infected with the FIV or FELV virus. She may also have fleas, worms, ear mites or a number of other heath problems. once the vet gives her a clean bill of health she'll need a FULL SET of vaccines (usually 3 sets about 4 weeks apart) once thats done she'll need to be fixed. Right now just make sure she has a clean litter box and lots of kitten food and clean water to keep her belly full. a few play things wouldn't hurt either.

If you intend to keep her a trip to the vet would be a good idea to make sure she is wormed, checked for ear mites and any shots she might need. Sometimes Farmers Coops or Pet suppy stores carry the worming medicines and innoculations that you can do yourself. Always follow directions. Most flea shampoos have ages on the bottle and say they are not for kittens. Make sure you get one appropriate for your kittens estimated age. Give your kitten plenty of love and it will be returned. Good luck!

That is sooo nice of you to take in this little kitty! Now, besides the food, water, litter, you will need to get her to the Vet for a check up, and see when you could get her spayed, because the previous owner was obviously too ignorant to do the responsible thing. Once you do this, you will have a wonderful, loving pet for many years to come.

Just a warm, loving heart. She may have been dumped, and left to fend for herself. Try and not give her cows milk, it may make her sick. Try and stick to a raw meat diet, organic if you can afford it. Please do not fall into the trap of having her vaccinated yearly, as this tends to cause many other complications down the track. Is it male/female? You may have to have her desexed if she is a female. You don't want a litter of kittens to get rid of. Let her outside during the day so she can sun herself, cats love this. Lastly lots of cuddles etc.... Now what are you going to call it?

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! Yeah, just be around and feed her. I prefer dogs, but the thing I like about cats is that it's in their instinct to take care of themselves. For instance my cat Precious...she was a beautiful little kitten that was wild and funny and really sweet. But she grew up and became the block whore and now she won't stop giving it up. The point of my story is...um, I forgot. Dig for a lesson in there, will ya?

no milk, apparently cats are lactose intolerant. I just give my cat Purina One and water. If you're going to keep it and not let it out, make sure you get the Purina One for indoor cats. Of course it's a kitten right now so you don't have to worry about that for awhile. Also have it checked for fleas.

give her canned kitten food and see if she wil eat it if not put down kitten formula if she isnt interested in it stick her face in it for a second and they usually go 4 it then when she gets used to it mix it with the canned food.
