make yourself go outside in the morning and take a walk. clear your head and appreciate your life, the beautiful day, the shapes you can make out of the clouds. I know that sounds odd but try it! Pineapple is the best natural sugar high. Everyday tell yourself 5 positive things about yourself... even if you don't believe it at the time you are saying it... say it anyway. Get out and enjoy your life. You will never have these moments again and it is too precious to waste. I understand I have wasted 1 yr in that mode. Good luck to you. email me and let me know how you are doing.

Bi-Polar is what it is. 2 Minds. What you need to do is to live in the NOw. Concentrate on small things like even your breathing for 10mins, and see just how difficult that is. Breath is Life. 3 mins without it see what happens. LIVE in the NOW. Not in the past it causes resentment, grief, pain especially if its unresolved. Don't live in the future, because it casues anxiety, worries...> These things produce toxins in your body further aggravating your condition. Relaxation is the general rule but the problem is how to attain it. Its like telling a crying child not to cry. Of course he is going to cry some more if he is also threatened with a spanking if he doesn't stop. The rule is Live in the Now. Does not mean we dont plan or we don't remember but we live in the now and face the reality now as it is and not live in an imaginary world. These things can be further aggravated by the spiritual dimension. As breath is life. The LIfe force. There are forces negative and positive that affects it.

Tequila used to work for me. But then again you're bipolar so that's not such a hot idea. Take your meds and call your therapist. Don't let the blues turn into a full-blown state of depression. That's a lot tougher to get out of.

If you work to hard, try to relax. Try getting weekends off (including Saturdays), that's what my fellow Adventists do. That's a pretty hard step to take though. If you're religious, try meditating on the bible or something.

My mom has the same problem too. Some days she's fine, other days she's not. It's a really tricky situation.

Just hang out with someone who has the reds. Then you'll both have the purples.

Go to the spa. A massage can make it all better. It does for me.
