heaven is an imaginary place. thus it can be however you want it to be. but the concept itself is of course, fiction.

He is quoting Mathew 22:25-30 This story is also found in Mark 12, and Luke 20. Also mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:50-53 I know heaven will be worth the wait but I don't think our bodies will be like they are now, and I don't think that SEX will be a priority anymore.

Well by the time we r able to go to un upperLevel that means that we r very close (if not whole) to be a Complete Human Being..
That means that we will have NO NEED for anything or anyone for Compliting us...
to be our "Other Half"...

In my opinon though There r a variety of things(just like here) that will lead us to an even upper level!
Including maybe another form of "copulation"!
the High Priest u asked is a Christian?
if yes then for HIM there is NO farther world from Heaven..
and so his answer was ok due to his standerds//

I know what verse the priest is refering to and Jesus said it. I think that all things are subjeget to debate and different interpertations. Jesus also said "What know ye not that the Kingdom of heaven is within you." so is heaven a place or a state of being? My own personal belief is that when and if you die your body turns to dust and returns to the ground, your soul or mind is asleep at rest, and your spirit goes back to the father who gave it. If your spirit is with God in heaven how can you have sex without a body. Hope you find your answer, God Bless.

If the priest would reread the Bible where it talks about heaven he would find out that the Bible says we will be given new physical bodies. There will be male and female... as far as I can tell.

I don't know about the sex thing. In my opinion it's not really important. Heaven is about eternally worshipping in the presence of God. I doubt we'll really care about sex in heaven.

There is no sex or gender in heaven. Remember, you will be dead. Why would dead people need to have sex? What are they gonna do? Have a child in heaven? It would be born alive and drop down to earth and die when it hit the ground. That would be unpleasant for everyone. Just have all the sex you want now while you are alive. You aren't getting any after you die.

Don't worry so much about what you can't comprehend. If the Creator of this universe has a place for you that He says is better than this why would you doubt that it is. God created man with all of his traits including his desire for sexual relations. You have that desire because God made you that way for a purpose. When you are changed that desire will not be part of you. If you are a believer you have to trust that your heavenly Father has something even better in store for you. You can't comprehend a sexless existence being better because you are now a sexual being with a carnal nature. Imagine a small child who has just dropped an ice cream cone on the sidewalk. You try to get it from them in order to give them another one. But they wont let go and will fight and scream not realizing that you already have an even bigger and better one waiting. Don't cry ...it will be alright. Trust Him.

For the person who said they are glad they will be burning in hell, I would ask you to reconsider. You don't have to you know.

If you were a Muslim you could keep your gender and have new set of 72 virgins everyday. Now that is weird...

However, God has no gender, and when we die we will be spirit. There will be no reason for sex. Jesus explained this to the people of his time when they asked him a question.. If a woman was to marry and her husband die, then say she marries again and the second husband dies,,,, and so forth... So then she has more husbands and they die.. Finally she dies too. But she had seven husbands, so which will be her husband in heaven?

What kinda heaven is it we supposed to believe in, half ur family ends up in hell and u can't save them from it, and u dont get to go into heaven and have sex or even different genders? What about ur husband and wife her on earth, u never get to be intimate with them again? This is no kind of paradise to me!

Uh.......I don't think there's sex in Heaven but I'm not sure about the gender thing. In Heaven, we have no desires for food or sex.

interesting questions.

there isn't an answer as far as I can tell. I am pretty sure that angels are androgynous. also, if there are no corporial bodies, i am pretty sure there can't be sex...or gender.

heaven is commonly thought of as being in the "light" of God. It is often portrayed as a bunch of people walking on clouds. Personally, I believe heaven is what you make it.

hmmm...ponder.
