Serious question: how many do you feel are:

Leftover hippies from the 60's who think they are going to revive their movement?

Real sponsored Communists and Socialists spreading propoganda through Yahoo!!!

Silly youths and college kids who don't want anything to interfere with their lives and think this is a form of civil service?

The "anti-establishment" crowd that thinks being trendy means rebelling against whatever seems to be the right trend to follow?

Boot camp/basic training failures who have an axe to grind so they join lock-step with a bunch of left over Leftists getting grants from the Communist party?

Cowards who feel that the best way to cover their refusal to take a real stand is to protest everything, since they won't have to make a real sacrifice, or actually contribute anything to anyone?

OR- just plain bored TROLLS????

i think i will have the "trendy ignorant youth" combination platter, with a side of "washed up hippie", and some "bedwetting bleeding heart liberal tarts" for dessert.

For one thing, you sound to be either ignorant or naive regarding politics. One day you will understand what really happened regarding the wars that have been fought throughout the past. Try to imagine having a child in the military and never knowing what will happen. Imagine what it feels like for a child to bear the pain of losing a parent because of a war that should have never been. Just look realistically at everything that has taken place since President Bush has been President. The whole administration is at fault. How they can sleep at night is beyond me, they must have hearts made of steel. When all hell breaks loose, and it will, then see what you think when they draft all of the commoners in this country. If you are so concerned maybe you should put your words in to practice and join the military and give some of these people a break. Maybe these soldiers would like some R&R and have time to be with their families and have alittle peace. Maybe they would like to know that their not locked in to the military. I hope to God they do start the draft. This way maybe you will get the chance to take some of the slack off of these fine young men and women.

First, your question is interesting, but I doubt most people really fall into any of those categories. Mostly people take radical opinions on here to see a reaction or to just anonymously be confrontational. Some people just find it fun to write extreme things on here to aggravate people, but that's fine, there's nothing wrong with that, you shouldn't let it bother you. The anti-war posts or anti-Bush can best be explained by realizing killing fellow human beings is never good and should only be done when necessary and there is obviously room for debate whether or not it was actually necessary for the US to go to Iraq. Noone denies that many Americans and World citizens are on both sides of this issue. It is not some rare, radical Yahoo opinion by trolls or leftover hippies. (although I do support the war, but I can't deny lots don't). And you have to realize that people with moderate views do not really post here, very normal people with normal views have lives and other things to do. What I'm saying is normal people are maybe in the minority on the website, and maybe that's what you're trying to say too. So you're right then!

I would say most of them are a combination of all of the above, but many of them are younger people who just follow a crowd of other anti-american government bashing morons. they have never experienced life, everything they know has come from books, or t.v. and since we ALL know the only news that is ever on t.v. is 1. the BAD news (thus only showing the bad things happening in this war, ignoring the fact that this war brought freedom to millions of people who were not allowed any of the freedoms that americans take for granted). 2. they only show what's NEW, (thus the word news) ie once iraq heated up everyone forgot about afghanistan, now that the isreal deal is going on you never see anything about iraq anymore. if they actually got off their arses and experienced life and were willing to have REAL beliefs and not just go along with what their parents or friends tell them, we might have a different situation.

First Question-There is no such thing as a just war The Buddha taught: "The victor breeds hatred and the defeated lives in misery. He who renounces both victory and defeat is happy and peaceful."

Second Question- Most Americans revere our Constitution. George Bush treats it like it was written on the back of a cocktail napkin.

Third Question- Many people simply confuse "America" and our country's leadership. Once explained to them it becomes as clear as the old saying: "Love my Country, Fear my Government!"

Take a look around, our country is in trouble and it is not the fault of old hippies, Communists, terrorists, trolls, college kids, Santa, or the Easter Bunny. If you'll be honest, you'll see that the source of the majority of our problems is the leadership in Washington. We can do much better and, if you choose to see clearly, you too can be part of the solution.

I really dont know. I find it so offensive though how people think they can bash the President of the United States. I actually think he is doing a great job considering the circumstances. He's led us through 9/11, the war in Afghanistan, and the war in Iraq, without sending the country into a tailspin. If you ask me, I think George Bush has been a great president. Below is a quote.

"America today is a proud, free nation, decent and civil, a place we cannot help but love. We know in our hearts, not loudly and proudly, but as a simple fact, that this country has meaning beyond what we see, and that our strength is a force for good."
-George H.W. Bush

God Bless America

Not everyone who is anti-Bush or anti-war is anti-America. I am still proud to be an American, but I am definately not a Bush fan. I also don't really like the idea of war or any other kind of fighting to solve a problem. But that is why America is great. Every one of us is free to think, feel, and say whatever we want (within reason).

The DNC, Democratic National Committee and its ilk. Seriously. Ever since the Presidential election of 2000 when President Bush got into office, the Dems and the liberal left have been acting just like little children on a playground, "he took my ball (the presidency) and won't give it back."

God bless President Bush and his courage to stand for his convictions and be a true leader. The left doesn't understand any longer the difference between leadership and power. They want power. You probably won't get leadership.

Actually, its a combination.

But mostly it's just people who believe whatever the media tells them. And a lot of them are just kids who know they should be rebelling but don't know what to rebel against..

Kevin Spacey said it best: If you aren't anti-establishment at 20 you've got no heart, and if you haven't become establishment at 30 you've got no brains.

Its because they have nothing else to do. All the 33 year old guys living in their parents basement have to have something to do when not playing everquest.

It also gives them a thrill when they can make republicans mad. The sorry thing is that the republicans are too stupid to know this and give them exactly what they want.

America is the only superpower nowawadays and it is the reason why many people are against its intervention in other states and the policies of President Bush.
