Does anyone have a clue about how I can live in peace with my bra? It seems I'll never get used to bras. I gotta wear one, but it's like my bra is alwyas telling me Hey girl, I'm here, on your breasts. They make me sweat, especially in the heat. Sometimes I feel like burning them, but everyday I have to put one on, clip its 3 or 4 hooks inthe back and keep it on. And sometimes its straps fall off my shoulder. How can I stop my bra from making me sweat in the heat? How can I get used to it? Don't you get mad when your bra make you sweat or annoy you? What do you do when it makes you sweat and you cant take it off?
I know bras are really important, but sometimes they suck. Well, seems this is a price many of us females have to pay just for being females.

That has never happened to me...I don't think about my bra except for first thing in the morning when I pick one out. I think you are wearing the wrong bra style or the wrong size.

Have you ever been properly fitted for a bra?
In a 'former life' I worked for Sears and one of the things they actually DID teach me was how to fit women for bras.
A lot of the time, women are not even wearing the right size bra (which may be why your straps fall off your shoulders).
My suggestion would be to go to a department store (or even Victoria's Secret) and ask to be measured for a bra. You may be wearing the wrong size.
Explain that you feel like you are dying with the heat, and the sales person may be able to find you a bra that both supports you and doesn't cause you to sweat as much.
Check out the site below...it has some good tips.

You need to pick a better bra, one that suits you.
First of all if you have big boobs then avoid thing straps so you won't feel like everything is falling. If it makes you sweat it's because you are picking a fabric which it not very good for the skin as it doesn't let i breathe, get one that has light fabric yet strong to keep things in its place.
Pick straps that can be regulated, if you pick one that has straps just in one size then you'll have trouble.
You don't need so many hooks, not like 3 or 4... get to the underwear department of a good store and ask for guidance for more accuracy.

LOL poor thing you must be a teenager, tighten your bra straps for they dont fall off you thats the 1st step, Now what alot of kids do now a days is get cheesecloth and wrap it under the bottom band of their bras to catch the sweat, dont bunch it up, just fold it in half, if you wear those belly shirts its kinda hard to do. also keep a small pack of babywipes in your purse and when u feel sweaty go into the ladies room and wipe under your bra you will feel better and a little cooler

I seriously suggest you go get properly fitted at a good reputable bra store. Make sure it's an older lady who fits you (less embarrassing and they have life experience with bras) and explain your troubles to her.

I was suffering sore boobs, back pain, sweats, shoulder aches... the lot. Eventually I got up courage and I went to be fitted and found out I was wearing the completely wrong size. She recommended a few varieties of bras to me and I bought what I could afford... and I am now comfortable, hardly notice I am wearing a bra - and I appear more shapely - in a good way.

You need to get fitted every 6 months just in case your body changes.

My best advice it to save up a fair amount of money for just one bra and get to a Victoria's Secret. They can make sure you are wearing a bra that is properly sized for you and they can get you bras that are made of lighter material, so you won't sweat as badly. It will cost a pretty penny (I spent $40 on a sports bra, but it was well worth it), but having a bra that fits properly and comfortably is worth the extra money!

Firstly, make sure you are wearing the correct size. Go & get properly measured so that the cup size is correct.
Next, maybe you could try an all cotton sports bra. They have no under-wiring & are completely soft & because they are cotton they will absorb the sweat a little better.

try a roll on deodorant, but as well as under arm, put some under your boobs as well.
Make sure it's as much cotton as possible. If the hooks are annoying you try a crop top, but it may not have as much support. Personally I hate anything with underwire in, so I use firm control bras.

When you're at home don't wear one. I've just got a cotton t-shirt & shorts & undies on. I agree that it is too hot for bras, and that men just can't appreciate how annoying they are in this weather.

Because of all the same problems as you mention, specially the hooks,I went out and bought myself a couple of "front loaders" Not a bit better at all, just easier to undo or fasten, at least when I take it off, all the wrinkles are dragged from my face making me look younger. Ho Hum, its a high price being female lol

I'm feelin' ya on this issue. For years I've struggled with the boobie prisons. Only recently, I got fitted and purchased the right sized bra. You see, most women are wearing the wrong size. Ever since I went ahead with the fitting, my torturous experience has been over. Please, please , please go get fitted by a professional and I betcha you will feel so much better about the damn contraption!
