I think I have fallen in love with someone, but is it really that simple? Can I just "claim" to be in love or is there more to it? I think about this guy all the time. I have reoccuring dreams about him, and even when he just says hey to me I smile bigger than you can imagine. Is it real?

Love is not easy. Make no mistake. Don't confuse love with being infatuated. (Don't confuse making love with actually being in love either.)
To me, love is an ideal. A very important ideal that a couple needs to uphold with one-hundred percent certanity that they can trust each other with. It only truly comes about when the relationship has matured beyond a point of no return.
Don't concern yourself with whether or not if you truly love him. Time will tell you that answer, and time alone. Instead, be happy that you experience the feelings you do when he is around.
I won't tell you that you are not in love with him. Some things are better learned through experience than by taking the advice that random people will give you. So I say, if anything, persue him and find out for yourself the answer to your question.

Love can strike you so suddenly and leave you so shocked and confused. Falling in love can be simple but love itself is not so simple. There is more to love than claiming that you are in love because anyone can do that. When i fell in love i thought about him all the time in the morning and sometimes i couldnt sleep from thinking about him. When he talked to me my world would just stop and my heart would skip a beat. It was definately special. What you are feeling is real and shoudnt be ignored. Only you can determine if you are in love but its obvious you are having feelings for this guy. Just follow your heart.

Thats cute...yeah it can be that simple. Love and lust are too that get mixed up a lot. Love is a feeling that you have were you can work things out, compromise, love them for thier faults and laugh with them yet see the good in them no matter what. Lust is similiar but you tend to shut out everyone else, friends, family, and it can lead to self sacrifices, like putting the other person before you in any case. Just becareful.

Does the other person love you back? There's no guarantee that the other will love you back but, if you truly believe in the person, give them all you've got.
Love is an active verb that demands your involvement; it is not sthing you just sit by and expect it to develop by itself. Anything else that seems to grow by itself without any committed effort from both your sides is none other than lust or infatuation.

Yes i think that you can fall in love , but you know if its love when you know everything possible about them, and you feel complete when hes close. do not give up on that love it could be the greatest things ever.

LUST that can be thought of as love but love is when u get a cold stomach when u see them and u cant stand not to be around them..thats love not to be confused with LUST..
