There are children of God, and there are children of the devil.
You are either one or the other (I JOHN).
There is nothing else.

Children of God are Spiritual Beings having a human experience.
We came from God and we will go back to God.
We got mixed up from the Fall of Adam and Eve, but Spiritually, God knows who are His' and who aren't.
The Bible teaches this.

God calls all of us "children" or "sons". Even angels are called this too. It's a spiritual family relationship, not biological of course. When we are on the enemy's side, we are called the enemy's sons, yet being called a "christian" doesn't make you a son of God. You have to be one. Works isa versa. There are people in the world, but don't fit in because they don't like evil. These are also Sons of God too. That's my personal belief though.

Jesus is the Son of God,
By accepting him as our Savior we become Joint Heirs with Jesus in Gods Kingdom (which is what God wants), therefore we are called Sons of God.

Sons of God and Children of God are Synonomous = They are the referencing the same people. = Those who are have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord & personal savior.

I hope that this information is helpful to you.

Also wwww.Crosswalk.com has an area/tab called Bible Study Tools that is very helpful on these and other Bible references.

And www.blueletter.com is an excellent resource for biblical definitions etc.

The Son of God is Jesus Christ, and the children of God are all the humans in the world He created.

bene elohim = "sons of god" in the old testment, ALL but 2x, it used these words it referred to angels. Two (2) times it referred to humans. This is why, in Genesis 6:1-4 we believe the reference of "bene elohim" mentioned here is in reference to actual angels and not the sons of men. I believe "bene elohim" was used 37 times in the Old Testament (Hebrew).

"Son of God" is in reference to Christ. What most people don't realize is that Jesus the Christ (Annointed) had a "pre-existence" in Heaven, but not that of a Trinity, which Christians only started worshipping in the 3rd century. Jesus was LITERALLY Gods ONLY CREATION IN THE CREATION OF EVERYTHING. Everything else was created for God THROUGH Christ Jesus. God calls Jesus His "master architect" meaning that he as God's son, worked for his father creating everything as God lovingly would have done. The Angels, Heaven, Earth and everything on it were all creations made by Christ for his Heavenly Father. That's why the Bible starts out at Gen. 1:26, "let us make," because Christ was God's ONLY BEGOTTEN SON and Helper in everything. In other words, when Christ died, the ONLY THING GOD EVER MADE IN THIS UNIVERSE died for YOU.

That seems to give His sacrifice even MORE importance to me.

Chrildren of God would refer to mankind at large. Also, in specific, the "lamblike" ones that would become those of Chists new kingdom followers.

You will not receive a single answer to your question, except contradictions and parrot mimics, tiz what the people of the bible often do, they hide or shy away from answering the real questions.

You see, the Christians of today cannot look outside the gates of the forever changing bible and the so called Christian flock is surely lost wondering around in an abyss of uncertainty and falsehood.
