Sorry bible is not prove, it has been copied down the ages, rewritten and has many verisons and therefore is not a relieable source of data.

Wasn't darwin's theory more about Survival of the Fittest, rather than Evolution as it is explained today? If that's the case, all one has to do is look at nature.
Faith in a theory? So I guess people just have faith that gravity works.

If you double-check the history Darwin actually recalled his theory of evolution proclaiming he had made a mistake and died believing in the Biblical account of creation.
I, or anyone else for that matter, cannot show you any sort of hard physical evidence proving the existance of God or the Biblical account of creation. What a person can show... is good archaeological and historical evidence showing the historicity of the Old Testament, as well as the New Testament. Archaeology cannot prove the Bible in terms of its revelation and inspiration from God.... but it can prove the Bible in terms of it being a historical document.
I am convinced after seeing much evidence from history and archaeology that what the Bible says is historical fact and therefore true.
Many non-Christians still hold that parts of the Old Testament are the best-kept, and most accurate and complete recording of historical events in existance.
NOTE FOR THE GUY LEAVING THE ANSWER ABOVE MINE:
"Theory of Evolution"... there's a reason it's called that. Because it IS a THEORY. It would be referred to as something else if it was scientific fact.
To me it takes more faith to believe we were all the cause of an accident (which no scientist can recreate) than believe we were designed by something intelligent. Study DNA in depth and tell me it's an accident.

A lot of the responses say that evolution is just a theory. That is true, but I never heard anyone question atomic theory because its just a theory. Most of science is based on theories. Theories are not fully proven, but to change from a hypothesis to a theory, a great deal of reasearch and evidence is needed.
Creationism isn't a theory. A theory is a hypothesis backed up by experiments. No experiments have been done relating to creationism. The only evidence is the Bible, but we have no way of knowing whether or not the Bible is accurate.
It's true that evolutionists can't tell exactly which mutations happened to give each animal each of its traits. However, evolutionists try to learn and find answers. Creationists make no effort to learn anything. They just say others are wrong because they haven't proved their ideas 100%. Meanwhile, they have no evidence supporting their ideas but say that they haven't been disproved. They just use different standards for their own views.

Darwins theory is proven wrong by his own words.
In Asia, Africa and Australia lives a remarkable creature the archerfish that shoots down its prey from the air above it with a burst of water. It uses its tongue and the top of its mouth to form a groove simiilar to a gun barrel. Then by compressing its gills it squirts water up to six feet with deadly accuracy -- in spite of the distortion caused by seeing the target from below the surface of water.
Evolutionists still don't know how the archerfish got its amazing abilities. They can only wonder. Viewid through the distortion of evolution they cannot explain how the archerfish gradually learned to not aim where its eyes see but to aim instead at a different spot where the target actually is.
Without its binocular vision it couldnot see the object with such precision and without the special shape of the upper mouth and a specialized tongue it could not make the groove it needs to shoot lthe concentrated jet of water. Many factors have to appear together and be perfectly formed for this shooting mechanism to work. This of course goes totally against Charles Darwin's evolutionary theory which is based on a gradual step by step process.
Darwin wrote in (The Origin of Species)-- "If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed which could not possibly have been formed by numerous successive slight modifications my theory would absolutely break down"(1859, p. 171).
The archerfish offers precisely such an example since several complex systems must all appear at the same time perfectly and not gradually formed--binocular vision,a specialized mouth and tongue, specialized gills to compress and expel water and an aiming system based in the brain and not in the eyes. If any of these parts is missing the mechanism will not hit the target and no survival advantage is created.
When you get down to the facts the archerfish with one squirt of its gills shoots down Charles Darwin's entire theory of evolution and that by Darwin's own admission!!!
So evolution doesn't have the answer to this mystery. But the Bible does. Genesis 1:20-21 says that God created all the creatures that live in the water. He created a great variety of perfectly formed fish including the archerfish with all its special features such as binocular vision other specialized organs and a built in ability to compenste for the distortion of the water.

First Darwin's theory is just that: A THEORY, therefore still no proof.
Second if people read more they'd know that Darwin was a true believer, but he was so pissed off at the church for many false teachings( but not at God or Jesus, just man controled churches) that in his mind, inventing this theory, was only to take people's mind off the church. Little did he know that it would catch on, but up to today it is still a bit lie.
Even as Darwin died, he laughed at everyone, saying something like: " Gottcha. I'd wrather believe there is a God for if there is none I lose nothing, but if I don't believe and there is one, then I risk to lose everything including my soul. I know God exists."

Look, if you want to believe that everything in the universe came from a "big bang", from absolutely nothingness, that's your right and you're welcome to it. If you truly believe we got all this from nothing, then more power to you. You're not the only person who likes magical thinking, and its just fine. Not realistic, not logical and not rational, but fine. Personally, I can't accept that a random "bang" when there was nothing to create the bang in the first place created the heavens, the sun, the moon, the earth. I can't accept that my soul, and yes, I do have one, came from a big bang, or all of the fantastic creatures on this earth. You have a right to believe what you want. I don't need to prove that God created the earth, because I know it. If you can come up with something a bit more logical than the big bang from nothing, then go for it. Otherwise, you might want to spend your time doing something more worthwhile than trying to convince people of your everything from nothing theory until you have something to go on.

Oh great, now the fundie morons are going to go on about how evolution is "just a theory". And for you morons that still chant this mantra, if you had a real understanding about the term, you'd see how saying "it's just a theory" is a ridiculous statement. F*cking idiots!
Ernest77h - that doesn't disprove a damn thing! It just shows that we don't have enough information about that particular fish to determine how it's unusual evolution came about.
Ignorance is not a virtue!! Try reading a REAL science book or two.

Here's the proof god created the universe:
Let x = God; let y=universe; let z=Bigfoot; let w=Santa Clause
Since x^4 / z^8 = z + w * z^7, it follows that z*2 + w/5 is x*y^9. Therefore, x implies y which means god created the universe. Either that or Bigfoot ate santa clause.

Its a faith, the keyword there is faith. And the bible only devotes about 20 pages to the creation of man and the earth and is pretty vague. So I don't really see how one excludes the other, it seems more political than based upon science or biblical fact.

The thing about believing is we don't need proof! We have the Bible and our faith and all I have to do is look around to know that we were created by God in His image. But, if people want to believe we crawled out of the water or descended from apes, then that is up to them!!
