Can't add anything new here, as others have the answer, but I do have a similar one for you...
A boy and his father were hit by a drunk driver and were rushed to the hospital where they were both in critical condition. When the boy went into the operating room the surgeon said, "I can't operate on this boy, he is my son." How is this possible?

One was a grandfather, one was a father, and one was a grandson. The dad and grandfather were both dads and the dad and the grandson were both sons. That was hard!
