Sure, if the government taxes the hell out of it. If they distributed it for double (or triple) the street value while at the same time banning smoking in public places, everyone wins. People that want it could get it legally (for a price) to enjoy at home, people that don't like it in public won't have to smell it, and the government gets a huge profit to fund education and pay off the national debt.

I think that yes it should be legalized. Which do you think is safer? Driving a car drunk or while high? Have you ever seen a person crash through the front of a house because they were stoned? No! Why? Because they drive too damn sloooowwww! To be serious now, the main reason why it is NOT legalized is because the states would lose too much money. That is the whole reason....it all comes down to money. As far as being too easily accessible? It is very easy to get now, it is just more expensive. I say legalize it, alcohol does way more damage than marijuana. NORML ~ And if you do not know what that stands for...look it up!

I personally think some of the medical cases with marijuana that they just use it for the drug, but some people don't. Marijuana should NOT be legalized because we would take advantage of a privelege and many people would die of OD or other stuff.

Absolutley. It is no worse than alcohol, and in many ways better. Have you ever seen someone beat their wife or child while stoned on grass? I think not.
The government can tax the **** out of it like cigarettes. Hemp is also a great source for paper because it does involve cutting down trees.
It should be legalized, taxed and regulated.

I dont think marijuana should be legalized in the US or in any nation. Marijuana should be only used for professional purposes such as medical researchs etc... but not for personal use.
My opinion :)

Hell Yeah if we had it on a daily bases we wouldn't need a doctor to perscribe medication because that is all we would need. If we were to die from a complication it would be alright cause we wouldn't feel it nor would we give a damn

Then how would the government make its money selling it back to you? How would the police get their free cut of what they take off of you?
Nah It shouldn't be legal. The system we have works just fine the way it is. =)

lmao at sum of the responses.Yes I do think that weed should be legal. But like tha people sayn it is bout tha money, but they kould get more money off it if it is legal. They kan sell packs of joints like cigarettes..Imagine that? cigarettes takes in alot of money, and people know that it kills. But weed dusnt.I think itll help wit cigarette problem too.Weed would dominate cigarettes, so there goes that problem of alot of cancers. And like that one dude said bout weed is better than alcohol, it is.WEED is alot safer and BETTER than nething else for peoples use...example as I said, cigarettes and alcohol. So again it should be legalized..
