... That no prayer goes unanswered? That even if it SEEMS like your prayer is unanswered, maybe the situation you are trying to change you are meant to go through? That perhaps it is a life lesson that you need to accept and learn before you can move past it?

I believe God listens to all prayers, no matter who they are directed to. He always does His will because He knows what is best for us. When we are going through times of trouble it is His way of redirecting our lives and bringing us closer to Him through prayer. He already knows all our needs, but He wants us to come to Him and have a personal relationship with Him. If you pray for His will to be done and for help in getting through your troubles, for Him to show you the direction you should take, that your prayer will always be answered. All prayers are answered, its just that sometimes God says "NO" and we don't want to hear it. =)

Yes. I agree. God, Jehovah, Goddess, Deity, Great Spirit--whatever you choose to call your higher power, they listen intently and all of our prayers, requests, meditations, spells, or rituals are attended to and answered.

The Gods are not vindictive, as some would suggest.

George Carlin did a great stand up bit about that. And yeah I think it's more that you're centering yourself and in acting change, rather then some magnificent force changing things and not being seen.

I would strongly disagree. Many studies have been done and prayer has failed miserably. The results are no better than that of ordinary chance.

I believe all prayers are answered kida like asking a raise in your allowence and your mom or dad says no there is a reason behind it.so when GOD says no he has his reasons which I,m never dumb enough to question.

No, I don't agree.

YHWH ("The LORD") hears the prayers of the righteous. But the wicked, he turns his ear from them.
