First, was the invitation sincere and genuine? If yes, what makes him so tire as not to fulfil this Saturday's morning commitment. It would be inexcusable if he was at the pub or with his buddies till the wee hours in the morning. Asking you to go to the grocery ... just shows how you would handle an unexpected situation. If he is a smart guy, he is putting you to a test of your adaption and flexibility in life. He is trying to understand you better. However, if he is an irresponsible person, it is time that you dump him. He is using you as his 'slave'.

Well for starters I hope you didnt go to the store for him and get the stuff, If I were you I would have taken the money and taken myself to breakfast and then come back and say thanks breakfast was great lets do this again next weekend, it will either make him mad or feel like a jerk, HE invited YOU for breakfast and he forgot or slept in and when you got there he didnt care enough to apologize, he was a jerk about it.

your boyfriend was behaving like a jerk and he was treating you with disrespect. if this is the only situation that has occurred in the 4 months i would give him another chance. however, you need to let him know you won't be treated like a personal assistant and he needs to show more respect in the future. you shouldn't have bought the groceries, but left him in bed and had some fun with your friends for the day. its up to you to accept that type of behavior or not.

I'd take the money and go have breakfast somewhere, on him! Let him go back to sleep while he waits.

Honestly, if his idea of your relationship is that you play cook/housekeeper while he sleeps in, then maybe it's time for you to evaluate if that's what you want. Typically, guys treat you better during dating than they do during marriage, so you already know what to expect here.

Maybe you should have a serious talk with him, men sometimes don't realize and forget women still want to be treated like diamonds. Let him know right now before it gets worse. Since he feels he no longer needs to work for that piece of treasure you have between your legs. But, please understand that does not mean he does not love you, women always make that mistake. Remember you are two people not one.

I think I'd have to be a little pissed. Maybe he invited you to COOK the breakfast. I would not have gone to the store and would probably leave and go home.

If this is the first time it's happened, let it slide. Make him take you out for a nice breakfast at a restaurant of your choice.

If this is a recurring behaviour, kick him in the nuts, take the money and run as fast as you can....

Me personally, I would dump him. If he invited me over for breakfast , I showed up on time and did not think enough of me to actually prepare if would tell me not to bother with him.

I would take his money and drive away. If he called and asked where the groceries were, tell him they are in the store, and you were taking the money as severance pay because you are SPLIT FOREVER. I would certainly NEVER EVER see him again.

I think that's a really lame thing to do. To make him feel guilty about it say something like, "I really loved you having breakfast ready for me."
