My daughter is likewise 15 months. i'm attempting to wean her, even with the undeniable fact that this is no longer likely so properly-She's no longer waiting to stop. She nurses 4-6 cases an afternoon, inclusive of nursing her to sleep. She wakes a minimum of as quickly as a evening (interior the 8-9 hours she's in her crib), to nurse. I do artwork finished time in the process the week, so on the weekdays she basically nurses 3-4 cases an afternoon. She's excellent with solids as properly, and likes to drink water. i like how human beings assume once you're nursing an older toddler that the toddler would not eat solids or use a cup lol.

For starters dont listen to the ppl telling you to stop. They dont realise the benifits of breast milk for babies and toddlers. You dont have any problems at bedtime cause you child is calmed by feeding, you would have a very strong bond. My daughter is a little over 2, im not feeding at the moment as my milk had just dried up from being pregnant again. This has distressed her a little, I dont think I planned on feeding her this long, but she is a healthy, happy and a very smart little girl. She also only fed at sleep times. I bottle fed my first child, she had been prone to ear infections and is always sick.

I agree it is time to stop now. Two years is a great amount of time to nurse ( I only nursed for a year)
he is old enough to go to bed without any fights regardless of whether or not you nurse him at night. I still lay down with my two year old, and that does the trick.

I don't undrestand people nowadays, not too many years ago people, there were no bottles from wal-mart, no milk from WIC, there was mama, and if mama's milk didn't come in there was a wet nurse. God made us this way for a reason, it's best for the baby AND mother! My oldest son was breastfed for two and a half years, he is now 14 and has been on antibiotics ONCE and I repeat ONCE in his life. My other children were not breastfed as long and I lost count of the times they were sick a LONG time ago.
You go right ahead and breatfeed your baby and rest easy and night that you are doing what you think is right and how God meant it to be !
