why a jew can grow his bread in order to practice his faith But when a muslim does the same, he is an extremist & terrorist. Why a nun can b coverd from head 2 toe to devote herself to God, BUT when muslimah does so, shes oppressed..When a western women stays at home to look after her house and kids she is respected because of sacrificing herself and doing good for the household?
But when a Muslim woman does so by her will, they say, "she needs to be liberated"!

When a Christian or a Jew kills, someone religion is not mentioned, but when Muslim is charged with a crime, it is Islam that goes to trial!
When someone sacrfices himself to keep others alive, he is noble and all respect him.But when a Palestinian does that to save his son from being killed, his brother's arm being broken, his mother being raped, his home being destroyed, and his mosque being violated -- He gets the title of a terrorist! Why? Because he is a Muslim ???

Islam is the second largest religion in the world. There are many that grow beards and are not considered in anyway as terrorists.

Nuns if they so desire can take off there habit and long dresses and put on a pair of shorts and a T-shirt and nothing happens to them. In some Islamic countries if a woman was to try the same thing she would be stoned to death. If they are doing it out of faith great. If they are doing it because they would be killed if they didn't that’s oppression. As for staying at home... how do you know it’s her will? And if it is their will... why do some desire to come to the states so that they can be "free to work".

I know for a fact that there are several Muslims in prison for murder, rape, drugs, and other charges and their religion was never an issue. What was at issue was what they did. When religion is brought up it is brought up by the perpetrator of the crime. Claiming a holy war against the west. Or god told me to do it. And this is true of Christians and Jews as well.

There is a difference between blowing yourself up to kill as many people around you as you can, and directly defending a loved one. If you can not see that you need help.

I find it interesting that the majority of the people of Iraq are Muslims and get along fine with the solders in their country. Yet you defend the few you do not. Many of which are not even native to Iraq.

Buy the way I'm a polytheist and get discriminated against by Jews, Christians and Muslims.

Every day we see on the news about you guys, EVERY DAY you are killing each other, cutting off hands and feet, beheading people. Muslims can not live in peace with anyone. There are pictures of your little children with AK47s and dynamite vests. The treatment of your women is still another thing.. Face the facts, your religion is killing you and everyone around you. It is just tooooo much to be able to overlook.. EVERY DAY..
The war with Israel.. The people put Hezbollahh in power and they must suffer for choosing a bad govt.. They are a bunch of cowards and look at what they do, they shoot at civilians and hide in their own civilian population. They don't even respect their own people.. Of course people try to save their families, but who started it and who is continuing to keep it going Hezbolla!!! Give the soldiers back and stop firing missiles and the Jews will stop..

I once saw a great movie about the holocaust. A jewish boy asked his grandfather why people (the germans) were persecuting them so much. The wise old grandfather told his son that it wasn't just them, but anybody who is different is often times not understood and therefore persecuted.

I believe this is applicable in this case. Many people in the west don't understand why a woman of their own free will would choose their particular lifestyle and therefore assume it is because they are persecuted. I recently moved in above a man from Jordan who was originally from Palestine. He had a beard, talked with an accent, and prayed to Allah morning and night. Neighboors of mine were almost fearful of him, as was I (I'm shamed to admit).

My wife baked some cookies once, and had some extra. Being the charitable soul she is she decided to give him some. She left them on his doorstep and left. Later he thanked us for them. That was the beginning of what has become a wonderful friendship with a great person.

Most people's exposure to Muslim's is through the media where they hear of Jihad's and suicide bombings. I urge any to read this to realize that there are extremists even among ourselves (like Timithy McVeigh, Charles Manson) who do not represent the vast majority. Next time you see a muslim, reach out the hand of fellowship and say hello! Most are kind friendly moral people. Don't judge a whole race by a few people, and seek understanding before making judgement of anybody.

Well for starters have you ever heard of a Jewish suicide bomber. NO Jewish men do not believe that they will go to heaven this way. Nuns also choose this way of life. Muslim woman are born into and forced to stay this way. Humans are also very stupid and everyone has there own view of the way the world should be especially when religion is involved. Think of a world where there is no religion no Gods no extremist. Just right and wrong. how would that be? Would you give up your faith in your religion for this?

You do make good points here but we, the general American population, not the political population, have to look at the situation and remind ourselves that what the politicians do has no bearing on who we are. Muslims have their own religion and rules to go by, so do the Jews, etc.
How does a hero compare to a terrorist? Just because a Palestinian does something to protect his family, he is punished by Palestinian laws/Muslim laws. We have no control over the other countries laws. I believe that everyone, no matter what religion, what country, etc. should do anything to protect their families.
So yes this is the democratic American country we live in!! Do you live here?

I agree with your point about the clothing and hairstyles. I also agree that any woman who chooses to be a stay-at-home-mom deserves our full respect.
In the US, all people who murder other people get arrested and put on trial if they are caught, regardless of their faith. Is that different in the Middle East? (I'm not being sarcastic. Is it true?)
I also believe that if someone blows themselves up, they are not "sacrificing themselves", they are killing innocents as well. So they are not saints or martyrs. They are common murderers. I would never condone murder, rape, or assault against a person or their church (or mosque, synagogue, etc).
The word "terrorist" is being brandished around too freely these days, and apparently the definition of a terrorist for some people has now become - "anyone who doesn't agree with you." So those people who are doing that are pretending to be backers of democracy but in fact they are the enemies of democracy and civil society. Some of these idiots are trying to make all Muslims look bad, no doubt about it. Shame on them.

Okay you are making a characterization. What people seem to be most against is the people who are out to destroy all other peoples, beliefs and religions and it is attached to the Muslim religion - it is the radicals of all groups that cause this misunderstanding. I don't think women who cover themselves from head to toe (and nuns do not do this anymore) do so because they want to. For them it makes them more comfortable - in fact it is a known fact that dresses catch more wind and can help keep a woman cool. Not all Jewish men grow long beards, just as not all Muslim men grow long beards. You need to put away all of your generalizations. It can cause more hatred.

There are 45 known Islamic terrorists groups and 2 Jewish ones. I dont care if anyone has a beard. I dont care is someone wears a head covering. (its hot im sure). Defending a mosque is one thing. Burning down a mosque is another thing. God will judge anyone who murders and does wicked things. The armies of a country are doing their jobs by protecting people and defending themselves. But if they are out of line or a civilian takes the law in his hands and murders because of hate, they will be judged for that by God.
