I live in Egypt and people help each other everyday. Here there is so much random acts of kindness its too hard to just mention one, but the one I was touched by the most was when I went to an orphanage and saw so many people coming to just sit and love on the kids. Here they call every woman mama and every man baba. Was a very sweet moment. The kids didn't ask for money, toys, or anything but to be picked up and held.
Pray that helps

I saw a young man about 20 help an older woman, about 65-70, put her groceries in her car and no he did not work at the store...just saw some were heavy and wanted to help.I always try to do or say 1 kind thing as I feel that is part of my "path" so today, just staying home ,saw some birds trying to peck at the ground for food and as the ground here is so hard it is cracking they werent having any luck..so I tore up the last 2 pieces of bread I had in the house to tossed them to the birds..already have sat out shallow bowls of water for them also.

How ironic is this? I went to the grocery store this morning and before getting out of the car, when I reached into my purse, looking for my wallet, yes, I leave my purse in the car all the time. I could not find my wallet because I had left it at home. I went into the store to check out a price, anyway. How ironic that I found a man's wallet on the floor. Of course, I handed it in to the front desk. Not really an act of kindness, but the closest thing all day.

I do look to do something "out of the way" every day. Today wasn't much but I helped a dude pick up about a hundred washers when he dropped them and allowed a few folks in on the highway. How's that?
i should have been playing Madden to get some of the "Angie-Lovin" though. He wins.

I have seen a lot of kindness lately as I have been the recipient of it. Right now I am on crutches for a possible Achilles tendon tear (MRI happening shortly) and many people where I work and out in public have been very kind and helpful to me; especially opening and holding doors which is very hard to do while leaning on crutches.

Hey old hippie, Georgia Gal here. I work in preschool and no one can love you like a child does. They hug me all the time. It makes a low paying job seem worthwhile.

Well, a friend of mine that I lost touch with for the last16 years showed up out of nowhere and shared a smoke with me today. That was kind.

The carnival is in town, the local people think the 'carnies' are bad (gypsies, tramps and thiefs - whatever). Anyway, I saw one of the carnies (probably spelled that wrong) helping one of the local citizens get out of his wheelchair and back into his car.

I hugged a tree, does that count? I also went and sat on my boyfriends lap while he was playing Madden football. I did it for no reason other than to show him some Angie-lovin'.

Hi from an even older beatnik--Venice ( CA) Beach style Today, much to my surprise 3 of my "kids" paid a bill for me. I did not expect it and feel both grateful and blessed to have their love.
