Why don't we provide marriage ceremonies for our farm animals, the idea of them sinfully fornicating puts one off of eating them, I realise many have immaculate conceptions through artificial insemination but certainly not all do!

Animals do not have the law written in their hearts from eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Since they are not under the law, and marriage is a practice of the law, it is not obligated for them.

Many animals do not even breed in ways that would constitute marriage or monogamy. Most species do not nurture their young. In the few that do, usually only one parent nurtures the children. Many species require promiscuous intercourse as a means of prevention of extinction.

Though God created them all, and decides how they live, marriage is simply meant to be a commitment to God as a form of repentance of adultery and to a lesser extent lust; therefore, animals do not require it. The same is true for the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion, they are both intended for forgiveness and repentance, which is not needed for animals.

Well first I am surprised your even asking this question but in simple "No". Animals can't fornicate since they don't have the intelligence we do as humans.

Also you say immaculate conception thru artifical insemination is still putting something in there for the animal to be born. Immaculate conception would be where there was nothing put in the animal to get it preg.

Apparently you are a city-dweller. All modern farm animals are bred only under legal conditions with the appropriate certificates and ceremonies.. They only wish they could sinfully fornicate.

Absolutely, it will only help the gay and lesbian community show the rest of the world how ridiculous conservative Christians are when the right of marriage is extended to farm animals but not people. It will add one more reason for people to turn away from backwards conservative values.

Would work in theory.

The problem is that farm animals would sleep around despite being married, which would be a reason for divorce.
You could have realized that yourself, if your moral standard was above those of farm animals.

Great point! Farm animals should absolutely wed before they create our food. But let's be fair and allow same-sex farm-animal marriage, too.

It would make more sense to let humans breed naturally, instead of tying them to a marriage ceremony which was not developed until humans had been on earth for hundreds of thousands of years.

Only if you intend to give them health insurance, offer them the chance to visit one another at the veterinary hospital, allow them to file taxes jointly, want to ensure they each have full rights in deciding what is best for their offspring, want them to have assumed rights of inheritance, and hundreds of other rights conveyed by marriage.
