My son went on a diet starting in march of 05' until about august of 05' and he lost 50 Lbs. Is it possible if he starts today, for him to loose another 50 lbs by december? he now weighs 190lbs. He doesn't like sports, but what he did do to loose weight is go walk and run the track at his school every afternoon.

Almost anything is possible when you put your mind to it. But washboard abs come from working out, exercising, and building muscle. A suggestion....is to either let him join a local gym, or get him one of those videos/dvds that specialize on that particular part of the body where exercising is concerned.
If he truly wants this, then he'll put the effort into working out. And tell him he's done a GREAT job! It's not easy losing weight, and I should know, I've lost 175 lbs in the past 7 years! And kept it off! :)

If he eats properly and works out in a gyn he can have washboard abs before next summer. It may be a good idea to get him a trainer or maybe the gyn coach can help with his workouts to get to his goal.

I think he is on the right track on loosing weight...yes weight loss takes a lot of time and patience...
I would suggest a workout plan in the gym...by this way, when he develops muscles, they will also aid in burning more calories...

You need that book, so you know what eat, and you have to exercise, do something, walk around the house 50 times.
