The Bible was written a long time ago when 144,000 was a very big number.
No body is going to be saved. There is not going to be an Armagedon. The Jews don't have any leg up on the Christians or Muslims. No body is going to heaven or hell. And it is time people woke up from their pleasant dreams and wishes they call beliefs.

Well i suggest you read the bible more closely, Christ said Many will come from the east and the west and sit down with Abraham and Issac. Also there are more numbers than 144,000 in this verse of Revelations. the 12 judges, the 144,000, and then a number which he could not number. And then there is also the verse where Christ was at the well with that Samaritan where he states you know not what you worship, Jews know what they worship salvation was of the Jews? Confusing yes, but what he meant was a true Jew worshiping one god and in secret. At anyplace at anytime.

The book of Revelations is full of symbols. The number 144,000 refers to the 12 tribes of Israel, and it is 12 X 12,000... Meaning all tribes, all tribes and many many people. Now at the time this book was written 10 of the tribes were lost, scattered throughout the world. In order for this perfect number of 12 X 12,000 to have any meaning then the missing tribes had to be collected from throughout the world. So, this actually becomes a message of inclusion for all gentiles and not just jews.

Technically, "jewish" or "non-jewish" is not an issue. Did you know that the letter J is only a little over 400 years old? Did you know that Jesus didn't call himself Jesus because the letter J did not exist? There were no such things as Jews during that time period because there was no letter J.
So you might find the answer after you know exactly the name of the chosen people.
thanks for listening.

The 144,000 mentionned in book of Revelation is in the Christian new testament - it is not part of jewish scripture, so Jews could care less about what it claims.
Most Christians can also forget about being part of that number, since the 144,000 are all virgins who have never been defiled by women. (Sounds like he assumes they are all men, too)

Nothing in the Bible says that only one ethnic group will be saved. The 144,000 referrence comes from Revelation, where John goes on to say that he saw a huge multitude of saved people that no one could number. Not to worry - if you want to be there, it's open to you too.

The 144,000 are anointed Christians that will be resurrected to HEAVEN, while the rest of righteous mankind stays on the earth. Just hear me out ;-) And im sorry my post is so long haha.
In Revelation (or Apocalypse) 5:10 it says: "and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over THE EARTH" So since the days of the apostles, God has been selecting faithful Christians in order to complete the number 144,000. Also, in 2 Timothy 2:12 it says "If we go on enduring, we shall also rule together as kings." Since the 144,000 (or 'anointed') Christians are ruling over the earth, that means the rest of mankind will be living upon a paradise earth.
Some scriptures supporting a paradise earth ruled from heaven are:
The Our Father, or Lord's Prayer, in Matthew 6:9 (chapter 10 in particular) where it says: "Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, Also upon the earth". We can see that now, while crime and suffering and war exists, that God's Kingdom is not ruling over the world yet. Infact, in 1John 5:19 it says, "We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one."
It says in Psalms 37:11 "But the meek ones theselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."
So the 144,000 mentioned in the Bible are corulers with Jesus during the millennial reign, and the rest of mankind will be living on a paradise earth :)
So are the 144,000 ONLY JEWISH?
Revelation 7:4-8: "I heard the number of those who were sealed, a hundred and fourty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel:...Judah...Reuben...Gad...Asher...Naphtali...Manasseh...Simeon...Levi...Issachar...Zebulun...Joseph...Benjamin." These cannot be the tribes of natural Israel because there never was a tribe of Joseph, the tribes of Ephraim and Dan are not included in the list here, and the Levites were set aside for service in connection with the temple but were not reckoned as one of the 12 tribes.
Galatians 3:26-29 states: You are all, in fact, sons of God through your faith in Christ Jesus.... There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one person in union with Christ Jesus. Moreover, if you belong to Christ, you are really Abraham's seed, heirs with reference to a promise."

Then finally I`d believe in HIM,It`s about time the Jews were treated fairly by someone.
Not being a believer yet I still can tell from the little I have read that neither God nor Christ envisaged any other faith but Judaism ,it was followers of Jesus that created the Christian movement - MORTAL man not immortal deity.

You need to learn to not take EVERYTHING you read so literally.
Keep in mind the books of the Bible were written two millennia ago, and edited several times by various leaders, not to mention translated into English from another language.

No, salvation is not only for jewish people. Remember Jesus and the woman at the well getting water? Jesus turned His attention to gentiles also. Both have the hope of salvation..jews and gentiles.
