Teach me English?
My first language is Japanese and Im trying to perfect my English.

situation is: Naomi wake up at 6:00AM today.
Wich term is the most appropriate under that situation?

1. She woke up early in the morning.
2. She woke up early this morning.

I think the second one is correct.

I guess that (in the morning) ,itself means every morning.
So, (She woke up early in the morning) implies her old habit. and she doesn't wake up early now.
She wakes up early in the morning. is kind of her habit. Therefore
She woked up early in the morning. is kind of her old harbit in the past.

What do you think?

2 is correct. But, it is "Naomi woke up at 6 a.m. today." Not "Naomi wake up."

The phrase "in the morning" only means generally after midnight and before noon, and the sentence "She woke up early in the morning" does not mean that she is in the habit of waking up early in the morning, only that on an unspecified day she woke up early in the morning.

But if you say, "Naomi wakes up early in the morning," then it means that she is in the habit of doing that.

It is the tense of the verb that determines this. "She wakes up" is present tense, "She woke up" is past tense. One of the meanings of the present tense is to indicate that the action indicated by the verb is ongoing or continuous or habitual.
"Joe sleeps on his side" means that is how Joe always sleeps, but "Joe slept on his side" means only one time in the past.

"She woke up early this morning" means that unlike other mornings, on this particular morning she woke up early.

English can be very hard because from very slight changes there comes very great differences in meaning. You are doing a very good job and are thinking very intelligently about things.
