I am looking for a bodice, chemise and peasant skirt type. Not to fancy. Not to mention I am a plus size girl.

It's an online thing but you could call and see if you could come up and see it for yourself. There's a number and email listed...I DO believe it's in the Ontario area.

Find a good seamstress and buy the pattern and fabric yourself. There's some great patterns in the books. Just go to your local fabric store, they might even be able to put you in touch with someone that could handle it. I've also seen some great dresses on ebay. Good luck1

Check out Dreams by Renee http://www.dreamsbyreneebridal.com They have some absolutely gorgeous dresses PLUS they will make custom dresses based on drawings/pictures at extremely reasonable prices. Also, the prices listed on their site are suggested retail and as a rep, I am authorized to offer discounts if you are interested.

Good luck!

Why not rent a costume? How far are you from Michigan? There is a place called Why Not Costumes on Biddle Ave in Wyandotte MI.
Might be worth the trip.

Do you sew? If so, go to a fabric store and buy a pattern for a dress. They have some BEAUTIFUL ones in there and they even have Medieval ones specifically done for weddings. If you don't sew, I bet you could find a seamstress who would be willing to make it for you.
