Well I made my invitation and they turned out nicely. I used Photoshop and Printmaster for some some designs. It cost about $25 for printing and that was on special paper. Also some Photoshop and Printmaster has built already made invitations so it does give you an idea. Also I browsed some of the online invitation shops for the ideas that I wanted ..

Do you have a budget?
The cheapest is to do it yourself. You can go to Michaels and get a do-it-yourself kit. It costs about 20 dollars for 50 invitations. Or, you can go to a printing store and have them do it, and they can come up with something that will fit your budget.
I would also recommend that you check out Party City or Party Zone... They will have the big invitation books that you can order from... and it's 30% off... I ordered through the company Encore at such a place... and got the 30% off from the list price and saved hundreds. And I got all the bells and whistles along with it... I think there's something really nice about getting a really pretty invitation with raised print... It sets the tone for the wedding.
I would check out the party stores... They will also have DIY wedding invitations kits. But it may be worth the money to just have them ordered through a company... It takes a lot of time and patience to do it yourself!

I'm looking to start an invitation design business, but I'm still a student, so I need some for my portfolio. I can design/make some for free, I'd just need you to cover the cost of the materials. If you're interested email me at michelle-duff@live.com and give me details/examples of what you'd like.

www.invitationpaper.com
They offer invites that are blank on the inside that you run through your printer. This way they still look professional on the outside with embossing and such, but are super cheap. I got mine for $29 per 100...and that includes the envelopes too.

I got mine online from www.handykane.com and they were great and beautiful. They sell on Ebay, too, so if I got the website wrong just got to Ebay and search for wedding invitations and you'll see that name "handy kane" on some of the listings and they'll have a link to their website.

Go to Michael's, AC Moore, or a different craft store. They have boxes of invitations that you can print yourself. Don't forget your weekly coupon! (AC Moore accepts Michael's too) A box of 50 ended up being $13.
