Myself, I prefer cats, but dogs are more popular, as for some reason, people say things about cats, like, they stink, and they scratch furniture, But i think they are really great. :)

Cats, because people who live in apartments, the elderly, and small children can have them. But there are all kinds of animal lovers, and plenty of people (like me) love all animals.
