I'm in a long distance relationship - my bf and I are about 2000miles apart. It's incredibly hard and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you have a lot of trust and communication. Money helps too since phone bills and travel costs can become expensive.

it's possible. there are ups and downs to it as with everything. Upside, if you are the type of person who needs alot of space its cool. also there is a lot more communicating going on then most relationships have, so that sets a good foundation.
downside, no physical contact, no seeing their eyes or body language when they talk. no cuddling! :(
