Yes, years ago. I was about 15 when I saw a ghost.
I babysat in a house where strange sounds, like foot steps, were often heard and the people who lived there were sometimes awaken at night by the feeling of a hand shaking them awake.

One day, and it was mid-day with sunshine (not a dark and stormy night), I was at the sink washing dishes and out of the corner of my eye, I saw something. I turned to see what it was, and I saw a man, tall, middle-aged in a dark suit, looking at me. I knew it was "the ghost" immediately, but I didn't feel afraid. I tried to speak to him, but he faded away.

To my knowledge, that was the only time anyone saw that ghost. I told the mother of the family who lived there, but not the child. The mom did some research and learned the house had once been part of an 18th century schoolhouse. Maybe the ghost was the school master?

Years later, I worked at a shelter for victims of domestic violence. I never saw a ghost there, but frequently heard them. Spigots would turn on and off for no reason, the sound of children laughing could be heard in the basement, furniture would move on its own, etc. This seemed to happen more frequently when teenagers were staying at the shelter. I think adolescents put off an energy that is felt be spirits.

My opinion of ghosts is that they're usually figments of imagination that occur when you want them to or the devil is playing with your head. I don't believe in "ghosts", by definition, which are spirits of dead loved ones. Instead i believe evil spirits masquerade as them. There are good spirits too, but they're more honest and will reveal themselves as they are. I believe the dead are dead and are not functioning souls because the vody and breath are separated. Let's say the soul is a software, the computer is the body, and the electricity is the breath. You can't access the software without the other 2 elements. I believe one doesn't have to worry about death because it's a dreamless sleep and i have the hope that one day everyone will resurrect one day. I don't believe that we go anywhere when we die, I believe we must resurrect first, then get our reward. It may be permanent death if one was bad with no remorse, or eternal life of you're saved from sin. But that's what I believe.

Whew, that was a lot of typing..... to answer you question, no, but sometimes I sense a presence not visible in the elctromegnetic spectrum (visible light).

When I was in high school and about 16 my Grandpa died on the day of the funeral I was laying in bed and I saw a white light he came to me and told me not to worry that he was OK it scared me a little but I was happy to know he was OK. I also work in the health care field and I have seen about 15 people dead ( found them) and I have bean in the room with 5 of them when they took there last breath so yes I do believe in ghost because not only have I bean with dead people I have seen them walking through the halls and moving things so you cant find them they are the ones I never met though.

I have in my dreams before.
I've seen ghosts do wierd things at a house kiddie corner to my Aunt's old house. The people living there had a ghost that followed them from my parent's old rental house that they used to rent out to them. Their garage door would open and close repeatedly. Then the lights would turn on and off. Then at night me and my cousins actually went over there and hid and saw the light switch going up and down by itself in the garage. It was wierd.

When I was in 8Th grade I spent the night with a girlfriend who happened to live in a house that they say was haunted. The house was built during the civil war. While I was there the bathtub kept filling up with water over and over again. The bathroom mirror would fog up also. But as far as seeing her. I'm afraid I did not. My friend Mary swore to me that she used to see a little girl all the time. I went over there several more times that year but Mary was the only one who saw her Ghost.

When I was about 10, my aunt lived in a house that we believed to be haunted. She would come home to weird stuff like a rocking horse would be sitting on top of the gas heater, the cabinets would stay open all the time, and once she had an unexplainable fire in her kitchen. I was swinging on the tree swing outside that summer and noticed a little girl just a few feet from me. She had come out of nowhere and was watching me swing. It was frightening b/c she wasn't smiling. I lowered my eyes just a second to shift my weight and when I looked back up she was gone. Not much later that year, my cousins family dog died for no reason at all, and they moved from that house.

I have felt the presence of a ghost and my 2 yr old starting yelling one day, saying she saw a ghost.I do believe in ghosts.I believe there are good ones and bad ones.I once read somewhere that if you think there's a bad ghost OR unwanted ghost, then say nicely"You are dead. Please leave here, you are not wanted and need to go on."Then, open the door and let him/her out.I know it sounds silly, but I do think it worked.

I saw one over 20 years ago and have heard many others inside and outside my house. I am in a house built in 1944 right now and I believe that one of the upstairs bedrooms has a ghost in it. I have lived in a few haunted houses in my lifetime.

Science is discovering a new theory called string theory, it may prove to be other dimensions where other intelligent being may live. I have never seen a ghost. I think it might be because I might start to believe in an after life which would lead me to believe in god with more faith. Satan may not want one of his spirits to appear before me for that reason. that's why he is very careful who he selects to have a sighting.
