My mother and I love her for it deeply despite the differences we had when I was younger! I am amazed she did not disown me as my father has and although I didn't appreciate or even recognize it, her love was always unconditional!

I dont think anyone has been a huge influence, I tend to invent myself. For example, my parents were married to each other and still are. They raised me to be christiain. But I am atheist, unmarried at age 39, and plan to stay that way.

By the way.. I love these people who say jesus is their role model. As far as we know, Jesus never drove a car, never operated an electric appliance or electronic gadget.. He never got married, never had children, never owned real estate, played the stock market, or made any attempt to build wealth. He advocated poverty (When aked how to achieve the kingdom of heaven he said to sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor). He was a pacifist ("When struck on one cheek, turn the other".)
The native Americans lived a lot like Jesus. No Christian Ive ever met is anything like him.
