It can work for some people just as homeopathy,reflexology and Rikki do.
Essential oils have various properties for soothing,calming or uplifting a person depending on the combination used.
Everyone has differing views on how successful this is but as someone who has used aromatherapy I did find it helpful.
It's not a cure to a problem but can make a person feel a little better.
Always best to find someone who is trained and therefore knows all the properties of the oils.
(Lavender oil is unsuitable for a person who is pregnant yet great to help relax and sleep)

Yes. Aromatherapy products are made with essential oils. Actually some medicines like Vicks Vapor Rub use pure essential oils. Some shampoos use tea tree, rosemary, carrot and other essential oils.
