And I always thought good luck charms only work if you have faith in them, that's pure faith isn't it?

Reply to Brother John: I don't they are just inanimate objects to me like anything else, lumps of metal...I'm trying to find out whether the shapes they are in have any meaning to other people, I do think the Joan the Wad is possibly connected with the wiccan religion coming as she does from Cornwall.

Objects don't really bring luck. There are churches that give away Holy Roses to bring miracles into your life, but I don't believe in any of that stuff either.
