When you get married do you think it will matter how many partners your soon to be spouse has had? Do you think it should be discussed prior to marriage.

Your sexual history should be discussed before marriage, but explicit details aren't necessary. My wife knows that I had several girlfriends before we met, and she knows that I didn't sleep with any of them.

I know that she had several men before me; that she stayed celibate when became a Christian; and that at least one of the men was sexually abusive. I never asked her for details or specifics, but knowing her past has helped me be more understanding of why she responds (or doesn't respond) in certain situations.

Sexual partners?? hmm I'm not done having them yet, but up to this point I've had 14.

As far as discussing sex partners with your new mate. Discuss it and let it go. My wife wanted details after we agreed that it was in the past. For women it's never in the past, and some guys obsess over it too. If you or your mate tend to have obsessive traits, and this subject is a touchy one, you might reconsider getting married.

I've been with five guys. My husband is the last one.

We talked about it. He's had more partners than I have. It hasn't made a difference in our marriage that I can see.

If you really love the person you are going to marry then it should not matter. As far as discussing it, there should be no problem.
