This is a conversation that I had with my 2 1/2 year old Andon.....

"What do you want for breakfast?" I asked Andon.

"Toast." He answered.

"Would you like anything on your toast?" I asked.

Andon answered "Cheese!".

Now I know that Andon does not like anything on his toast except butter so I asked "You want cheese?"

He replies "No, I want butter".

I said "Thought so".

Andon says "I don't want thought so on my toast. No mum mum!!"

I thought that that was the funniest thing that I had heard in a while and I had to share it with everyone.

When my daughter was 2 yrs old, we'd just come back from vacation a few days earlier and I'd unpacked all the suitcases. Life was pretty much back to normal when she took all her pj's out of her dresser, put them in her suitcase and set it by the frontdoor. It stayed there for another day or so until my husband (who is a total neat freak and doesn't like anything out of place) asked what her suitcase was doing by the door. I told him she was playing a game of something and didn't want it moved. So he asked her what it was doing by the front door and she said, "I just have GOT to get out of here."

Also, when my son was 5 and my daughter was around a year old, he happened to catch sight of her naked after a bath. He'd seen her without clothes before but I guess had just never paid close attention. Anyway, he got really upset and started crying. We asked him what was wrong and he said, "Baby Emily's tail fell off!"

Well, I've always told my little girl that no one is to see her without clothes on except me- her mommy. Well, one day I was changing my shirt in my bedroom, and she was there (she was about 3 at the time), and heard my husband coming through the door from work. My daughter's eyes got really big and looked very worried as she said "quick mommy, hurry up or daddy will see you naked!!". I just smiled, and said "ok".
