My friend announced her pregnancy by putting a poem from baby in a baby frame. Are there any other cool ways?

To tell the grandparents, my girlfriend and her hubby sent both sets of (grand)parents a bottle of Champagne with 2 champagne glasses. (kind of like bride & grooms glasses) but one said Grandma and one said Grandpa. It was really neat. They where living out of the country at the time, and wanted it to be a little more special than just telling them over the phone.

You could get one of those cute T-shirts that says some thing like "Bun in the oven" or "Baby" with an arrow pointing to your belly. If you have an older child you can put a "Big Brother" or "Big Sister" T-Shirt on them (If they dont already have a younger sibling) If you have older children you could get one of those picture frames with multipal sections, and put your other childrens pictures (or you and your husbands pictures) in them, and in one section put a piece of paper with a question mark on it.

I wanted to send a card to my mom and mother in law saying something like hi grandma or whatever. I planned to send it in the mail and wait for them to call!

What I did to tell my husband that i was pregnant is that i got a unisex onsie with a pasifier and bottle and wrapped it in a box and had him unwrap it...he figured it out quickly!

i left the pg test on the counter for my husband to see. i bought all the g-ma's a book called read to me grandma to tell them.

my cousin and his wife gave my aunt an afghan ( from things remembered) with "grandma"
it still took her a few minutes to get it
just an idea!
