From what it sounds like she really loves you.
She wants to share every moment like it's the last.
You need to tell her that you need some time for yourself
also. That not only do you need your own personal time
but she does too.Tell her that being a part on occasion
will make the heart grow fonder.
Then again she may have some serious issues
about past relationships. She may have some
trust issues or other issues she needs to deal with.
Bottom line,if it's bothering you tell her.

Apparently she's always been like this.. you've been together three years. Don't think she's weird.. just acknowledged that you're fed up.. and maybe this is not the relationship for you.. If it's worth salvaging... love her and let it be.. or well... I dont think asking for space is an option.. I think you should let it go if you're not willing to make the time together great.. COULD try doing more group activities with guys that have girlfriends that she might get along with....

do you spend enough time with her, do you actually make plans of doing something special just for the two of you? women require a lot of time, effort and attention, and if we don't get enough of it, we can stray and take it from other males, which is what you dont want. she loves you, tell her you will spend time with her, but space is good and healthy! are you in a committed relationship? she sounds like shes talking marriage here. space is important in a relationship but difficult to achieve. men dont want women to be "needy" which comes off as her wanting to be with you all the time;however, men want their women to call them and check up on them all the time. it's a double standard. talk to her, space is good, you can achieve by still showing her attention. i gurantee if you do something special with her once a month and see her 1-2 times a week she will be more than satisfied.
