I agree with Joanna. If I'm not mistaken, poison ivy's poison comes from the oil that is on the leaves which is not a bacteria or virus. It is an oil that most people are allergic to. If you are, and there is a high enough concentration in the pool, then it can probably pass to others. But if someone has a rash from poison ivy, I wouldn't worry, as there rash is the reaction from the histamines in their body. The oil is probably already gone.

In the pool. In the living room. In the kitchen. Ivy spreads everywhere! In the back seat of my 57 Ford. THAT is why I like her so much.

actually it can ivy is an oil and if you move and such it can spread in water with touch ect.

Assuming your pool has all the necessary chemicals in it to keep most other stuff (like Algae, fungus, etc) from growing, I doubt it
