I have a bottle of the 14 year Oban. For a highland scotch, it has more peat/seaweed taste than I would prefer. I'd easily recommend Dalwhinnie over it.

I'm in high tech.

My Best Friend drinks Oban. In fact, I bought him a bottle of it last weekend for coming to town for the weekend to help me organize. He is an Opera singer and also works full time in a salary paid position somewhere else. He has McCallen 12, Dalwhinnie, and Oban so far in single malts.

Not my favorite whiskey, but up there; only one Scotch is better--Cragganmore. However, only drink about a shot a month or so, so I can afford it on Auditor's wages.
