Any time our cats get diarrhea it could mean something they ate wasn't right. Even changing a brand of food is a cause but if it last for more than 24 hrs, and it is frequent take her or call vet for his opinion, never treat an animal with human meds before a vet okays it. I think most people chose to ignore or do things on their own to avoid vet costs. Being a responsible pet owner means making an investment into their health care issues, as if they were you own children. It is not just toys and food it is good vet care that gives you a healthy happy animal.

If the condition continues, take her to the vet immediately as it could be serious. In the meantime, DON'T give her milk (which can cause diarrhea). Give her plenty of water. Some suggest withholding food for a day. Other people have had good luck with
-Iams Dry Hairball formula
-Libby's canned pumpkin
-Immodium AD (dosage is by weight)
Most important, don't ignore this as she could eventually die from dehydration or whatever is causing this *symptom*!

You'll need to take kitty to the vet. Loose stools can be a symptom of something greater. Do NOT give the cat milk (warm or any variety) as it can cause diarreha on it's own. Make sure you are offering her lots of water in the interim and check around the house to see if she got into something. Many houseplants can be toxic to pets, but if she isn't throwing up, it isn't likely that she got into one. Good luck!

Boil hamburger. Skim off all grease, drain the water, cool to room temp and that is the only thing she can have except water. When the diarrhea is gone, gradually introduce the Purina dry food again.
Diarrhea is one of those words it is hard to stop spelling!

First, remove her food for 24 hours.
Second, make sure she has access to water at all times.
Third, contact your vet and ask if you may give her an over-the-counter antidiarrhea medicine such as immodium. Let you vet tell you the amount (based on your cats weight) and how often.
Good luck

if your new kitten has no longer been spayed, doing so will help very plenty. She is a kitten, biting and play combating with George seems a organic element for her to do, yet George isn't having any of it, as he has themes. So...you are able to desire to play with the kitten extra, and separate them once you're away, with the aid of putting a muddle container and nutrition and water in a quiet room with some toys for the two George or Mildred. That way Mildred learns to take a visit whilst her play will become too tough.

Iams cat food is probably better for her diet. It's more expensive, but worth it. I think there are some different varieties, some of which cater to cats with digestive issues.
If that doesn't work, give her a dirt nap. Lots of cats in this world to go around.

This is something that probably requires vet's attention.
If you are looking for food advice - I use Science Diet (available at most pet stores and some veterinarians carry it as well). They have a sensitive stomach formula that I use and may help.
