Anything with a good rythym, or beat....But, funny you should ask, because, just last week, I was working out to Joss Stones, album, "Mind, body & Soul", and when the songs were fast, I'd work-out fast, and the slow ones, I'd do isometrics, too, slowly. And so on..through her whole album... I can work-out to anything, with a semi-fast, beat, so long as its not like "Heavy-Medal", I am not a fan, of Noise!!! Good Question!!!

Personally I like to listen to Metal, and upbeat energizing music like the kind that makes you want to get up and dance or something. My favorite: Wheel of Fortune from the Pirates of The Caribbean soundtrack!

If you have an iPod, you should get the podcast PODRUNNER. It's free and there are hours of fast-pasted songs without lyrics that you can download. Each song is about 1 hour, so it's great because the rhythm and beat stays the same for your whole workout; awesome if you're running, doing aerobics, etc. I just downloaded it today and think it's great!

Alice Deejay. I think her music is perfect for workouts. Some of her songs that I think are good workout songs are: "better off alone," "back in my life," "the lonely one," etc. listen to those if you haven't already.

Try some nofx, badreligion or anything with a driving beat... metal can be good too but it has to be melodic and elateing not just gruff and depressing.... anger and aggression can be channeled effectively into your workout as motivation.

Listen to "Breathe" by Fabolous, now that's good. So is "Remember the Name" by Fort Minor. Just check into them, trust me.
