For fat metabolism definitely before. The lack of calories in your system and the lack of insulin due to ingesting calories will make all kinds of cool biochemical actions take place ie'growth hormone secretion, growth factors. All of these things can improve your ability to metabolize fat.Check out some of my best answers because I've answered this one before. There may be some stuff there that I'm not including right now.Do your situps first because they are anaerobic and will use up some glycogen so that your body can target fat.

NO, eat breakfast first, wait about a half hour (for it to digest), then work out. Here's some information for you -

In the morning, your body has gone 8+ hours since eating or drinking anything. Your blood sugar levels are lower at this point, and your body doesn't have adequate fuel to workout optimally. Usually, experts recommend eating something—even if it's just a small snack—within 2 hours before working out. When your body doesn’t have proper fuel in it, many problems can result, the lesser being that your workout performance suffers, and the greater being something like passing out during exercise.

I think I'd probably hurl if I jogged after breakfast. What I used to do, back when I exercised (I know, I'm bad!), I'd just grab a piece of toast and some water, then go exercise. After I got home and cleaned up, then I'd sit down and eat. I've heard, but I don't know if it's true, that your food metabolizes faster if you eat after exercising.

Exercise before you eat. When eat first and then work out, your body has to stop working on your breakfast to deal with the exercise. That's a good way to end up sick.

I'm not an expert or a doctor, but I'd say before because your body isn't using the (i dont know) oxygen to break down the food you would've just eaten. but a quick snack wouldnt hurt because exercising on an empty stomach sucks. trust me(especially if you drink more water while exercising on an empty stomach)

I would jog before you eat because it "wakes-up" (can't think of how to say it lol) your metabolism and will burn more calories that way. Sit-ups and such maybe a little after you eat... wait about an hour.
