Dont laff.....My husbands in Iraq and has been wanting sweetcorn for himself and his buddies.Is it possible to mail it and how?

I'm in Wisconsin and I tried to send some perishable food to my brother. I was denied on three levels..
1 It is illegal to send fresh produce in to another country
2 No way for it to stay fresh on that particular journey.
3 The price to send it.
Sorry but i do suggest sending him a photo of you enjoying a nice grill out and let him know all the corn in Wisconsin is waiting for him when he gets back.

Yes you can mail it but the cost of shipping to ship a crate of corn would be expensive try talking to your local V.A. Post they can usually help you out.

I'd cut it off of the cob and freeze it and send it dry ice

Why not! Cook it and then shrink wrap it and freeze it.
